Gaming on phones has now gotten to the point where your Android device could replace your PC or home console if you really wanted it to.
We've compiled a list of 15 best Android games of 2017. Most of the games that are mentioned here are either free or available for a petty amount. If you’re in the market for a free new addicting game to kill some time or play endlessly through the convenience of a smartphone then this list is for you.
15. Critical Ops (4.4★)

Critical Ops is a first-person shooter that you have to play. It is in a form that can be best described as a fully playable game but one that is far from finished, this is a remarkably fun title that has started to suck up a lot of my free time and time I spend streaming games.
14. Final Fantasy Brave Exvius (4.6★)

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius brings the classic FF experience into a Free to Play concept without losing quality. Good music, faithful 16 bit graphics and good gameplay make it a recommendable title, but like in every free to play, we should be ready to either expend a lot of time and effort progressing or prepare the wallet to expend some money to do it faster.
13. Super Mario Run (3.7★)

Super Mario Run asks you to surrender some direct control of Nintendo’s mascot, but what it gives you in return is a stylish, addictive platformer you can play with one hand. Slick new moves and highly replayable stages make Mario’s smartphone debut feel like a parkour collect-a-thon loaded up with Nintendo charm.
12. Hungry Shark Evolution (4.5★)

If you've ever wanted to play a hungry shark, gobbling up everything with-in swimming distance, this is definitely your game. It's a lot of fun too! It might be a very simple idea but it's fun to take down a plethora of fish or scuba divers in one combo, and oddly calming too!
11. Cut the Rope: Magic (4.6★)

The game is an absolute joy to play, with even better visuals and more of the incredibly smooth gameplay fans of the series have come to expect from Zepto Lab. Instant puzzle solving fun. This sequel to the classic Cut the Rope series it´s a masterpiece for puzzle addicted users.
10. Cubway (4.7★)
Those with a passion for puzzle titles will want to give Cubway a look. The goal is to make sure that you get your little cube to the end of each of the 55 levels but you’ll encounter obstacles along the way, so you’ll need to be on your toes if you’re to pass them and continue. While the level details may seem like they’re just for artistic purposes, they actually provide an abstract story to follow.
9. The Little Fox (4.7★)

The Little Fox by Oleg Batrakov is a twitchy hexagonal runner that offers players a different perspective on “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, which is known by many as the ‘fairy tale for adults.’ If you liked games like Super Hexagon and ALONE, then you will enjoy The Little Fox.
8. Crash of Cars (4.6★)
For a lot of folks, the biggest attraction to Crash of Cars will likely be the social aspect of the game — competing against strangers and friends. The more popular Crash of Cars gets and can stay, the more likely these players will be to stick around, but it’ll depend on whether new vehicles and features are introduced often enough to sustain interest.
7. Zombie Gunship Survival (4.6★)

I love how realistic the graphics are because it is truly immersive and unique, unlike some other zombie shooter games that I’ve seen. The controls are easy enough to understand, and you can easily change the y-axis and x-axis to have inverted movement.
6. Transformers: Forged to Fight (4.6★)
Transformers: Forged to Fight is a solid mobile fighting game, with a long campaign and wonderful characters. Transformers game offers fans a way to control and run different types of Autobots and Decepticons from all parts of the Transformers franchise. You can choose the 80th Edition of Optimus Prime to fight against Megatron Michael Bay-theme live-action edition.
5. Clash Royale (4.6★)

Clash Royale is one of those rare games that not only gets everything right, but does so while trailblazing a new formula for mobile games. I encourage everyone to give this game a try, even if you're a vigilant hater of free to play. In Clash Royale, you’ll collect cards, build decks, and then square off in one-on-one duels with online opponents. You'll earn trophies when you win. Similarly, you'll lose trophies when you lose.
4. Asphalt 8: Airborne (4.6★)

With beautiful visuals, excellent controls, varying raceways, and near-perfect multiplayer experiences, I wholly recommend Asphalt 8: Airborne to anyone wanting a fun, over-the-top racing title. The entertainment value provided is simply off the charts making Asphalt 8 an absolute must that you will enjoy every minute of.
3. Sky Force Reloaded (4.7★)

Sky Force Reloaded is an award winning and highly acclaimed vertical shooter. I highly recommend giving Sky Force Reloaded a shot. It's a fun, well-made shoot 'em up with some unique quirks to it.
2. Injustice 2 (4.3★)

The mobile version of Injustice 2 improves the experience of the first episode, delivering a classic gesture fighting game with plenty of characters to unlock, different game modes and some spectacular sequences. The graphics are fantastic for a mobile version of a console game, the roster is expansive, the fights are challenging but fun at the same time, and the controls work well for what it’s worth.
1. Dancing Line (4.8★)
In Dancing Line, from Cheetah Mobile, you guide a line through a constantly changing world by tapping to the beat of the music. The game starts out easy, but by the time you progress to the second level, you’ll find the challenge ramps up dramatically. The overall look of Dancing Line is simplistic and clean and fun to play.
