Google has officially announced the long awaited Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL on Wednesday. The phones, both currently available for pre-order, will be shipped on Oct. 19. This year we’re getting two different manufacturers, HTC for the Pixel 2 and LG for the Pixel 2 XL, and two different designs. We also lose the headphone jack but gain stereo speakers. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL also mark the launch of Android 8.0 Oreo, the newest version of Google’s Android operating system.
